Job summary

Uline is seeking an Operations Analyst to turn operational data into actionable insights and support improvements across the North American network. The role partners with Sales, Customer Service and Distribution Operations to understand needs and drive performance through data-led recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of analytics experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency in SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Office; VBA and Power Automate are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; major in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering preferred.
• At least 3 years of analyst experience, with auditing and data analytics background.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Office; VBA and Power Automate knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex business data into clear insights, recommendations and presentations for leadership.
• Analyze branch performance, productivity and error trends to identify root causes and improvements.
• Own analytical projects from opportunities to solutions and measured results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Distribution Operations to meet business needs.
• Develop reporting tools using SQL and Power BI to uncover trends and performance.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.

Position Responsibilities

• Turn complex business data into clear insights, recommendations and presentations that help leadership make informed decisions.
• Analyze branch performance, productivity and error trends to identify root causes and recommend improvements that streamline operations.
• Own analytical projects from identifying business opportunities through recommending solutions and measuring results.
• Partner with teams across Uline — including Sales, Customer Service and Distribution Operations — to understand business needs, solve challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Use SQL and Power BI to develop reporting tools that uncover trends and measure performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. Major in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of analyst experience, with experience in auditing and data analytics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL and Power BI. Knowledge in VBA and Power Automate preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
