Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • General bookkeeping and administrative support.
  • Order entry and order management.
  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls.
  • Assist walk-in retail customers.
  • Production scheduling and planning support.
  • Inventory and data entry.
  • Coordinate customer orders from start to completion.
  • Supporting shipping and operational administration.
  • Assist owners with day-to-day operations.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

REDTAIL PADDLE COMPANY, located in CAMPBELLFORD, ON is looking to hire a PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME – OPERATIONS & ADMINSTRATION COORDINATOR, based on the successful candidate, with the opportunity to grow into a larger role.

At Redtail Paddle, we don’t just manufacture paddles, we handcraft products that help people create memories on lakes, rivers and waterways across Canada and beyond. As we continue expanding our retail, wholesale and U.S. distribution, we’re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our growing family business.

We’re searching for a highly organized, dependable individual who enjoys variety in their workday and wants a long-term career with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork and the outdoors.

About the Role – This is a dynamic position where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll be involved in many aspects of the business and will paly an important role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly.

Job Duties:
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • General bookkeeping and administrative support
  • Order entry and order management
  • Responding to customer emails and phone calls
  • Assisting walk-in retail customers
  • Production scheduling and planning support
  • Inventory and data entry
  • Coordinating customer orders and start to completion
  • Assisting with shipping and operational administration
  • Supporting the owners with day-to-day business opeartaions
  • Other administrative and operational duties as required
Qualifications:

  • Is highly organized and detailed-oriented
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Is comfortable using computers and learning new software
  • Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well independently while also being a team player
  • Has strong problem-solving skills and takes initiative

Previous experience in administration, bookkeeping, customer service, office management or operations is considered an asset but is not required for the right candidate.

Additional Information:

Pay – $17.60 per hour
