Job summary

Logistec, a member of Enstructure Group, seeks an Operational Systems Technician at the Sept-Îles terminal to support day-to-day operations. You will manage large-scale operating systems, conveyors and loaders, coordinate cross-team communications, and maintain system reliability and safety.

You will react quickly to unusual events, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards, with fluency in French and English essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma or relevant experience in the control of large-scale operating systems.
• Proven ability in the use of computer interfaces.
• Excellent understanding of operating system technologies and PLC operational management.
• Good mechanical and electrical understanding of conveyor, transfer and loader operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills in French, functional ability to communicate in English; bilingual in French and English required.
• Ability to understand and use information contained in operational manuals.
• Good physical condition is essential, especially for outdoor work.
• Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Control and coordinate operational systems as required.
• Coordinate all communications between the various parties involved to maintain the integrity of operational systems and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure the reliability and stability of operational systems.
• React, analyze and intervene rapidly in unforeseen or unusual situations.
• Participate in and carry out preventive and regular maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of operational systems.
• Respect health and safety principles at all times.
• All other related tasks.
