Job summary

TD in Toronto is offering a Co-op/Internship opportunity within Corporate Operational Risk Management to gain hands-on risk analysis experience and support the Issues Management program. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world-class training, and contribute to data quality checks, trend analyses, and informative reporting presented to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co‑op/intern positions)
• Proactively analyze Issues Management data and produce trend analysis to inform forward looking results
• Use advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and recommend standards against which others will operate
• Provide regular commentary and industry analysis in supporting the development/ maintenance/ oversight of policies/ procedures/ practices related to the Issues Management program
• Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or oversight functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
• Conducts Issues Management analysis to inform decision making at senior levels
• Works independently and performs ongoing monitoring and analysis of Issues management data to inform future trends
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
