Job summary

PwC Canada is offering a co-op internship in Risk Services. You will work on advisory engagements, supporting clients with risk management and internal controls while gaining hands-on experience with data, analytics, and AI tools.

You will collaborate with diverse teams across offices or client sites, contributing to governance, regulatory, and operational risk projects during a dynamic learning period.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies.
• Asset: bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
• Curiosity and critical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose new approaches.
• Ability to solve complex risk management and regulatory issues with tailored client solutions.
• Openness, intellectual humility, and receptiveness to feedback.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with collaboration in diverse teams.
• Interest in financial services, engineering, public sector, or related industries.
• Passion for data, analytics, and automation in decision-making and risk management.
• Understanding of principles in business management, operational effectiveness, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort with learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit or advisory work in accordance with established timelines and budgets.
• Maintaining clear and ongoing communication with engagement leaders to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
• Documenting audit evidence clearly and concisely and validating its quality and relevance.
• Analyzing the impact of control deficiencies on financial data and the audit or advisory strategy.
• Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships within the team and with clients.
• Staying informed about industry trends related to regulation, risk, governance, data, analytics, and technology.
• Identifying business development opportunities to promote services to new clients and strengthen relationships.
• Excellent mastery of French is required, with good business English.
