Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking an Operational Readiness Specialist to lead readiness initiatives across GO & UP operations, integrating readiness plans with project objectives. You will assess impacts, engage stakeholders, and drive evidence-based improvements for successful service implementation.

The role requires an undergraduate degree and experience in readiness, change management, and program delivery, with strong communication and collaboration skills to support organizational change.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, Planning, or equivalent.
• Experience in operational readiness or business transformation, including delivering readiness programs.
• Strong knowledge of readiness practices and methodologies.
• Proven project management and planning experience in complex environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a structured operational readiness approach for impacted teams and identify gaps.
• Develop readiness strategies and integrate them into project plans.
• Establish KPIs to monitor readiness and guide interventions as needed.
• Conduct requirements analysis to support successful implementation.
• Identify risks and mitigate readiness barriers across initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align readiness with business objectives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to promote change adoption.
• Deliver readiness communications, trainings and briefings to stakeholders.
• Research trends to continuously improve readiness capabilities.
• Provide leadership in complex situations without direct supervision.
