Job summary

Altis Technology is looking for an Operational Purchaser to join a fast-paced engineering and renewable energy environment supporting supply chain operations across the Americas. Youll play a hands-on role in purchasing parts and coordinating supply requirements that help keep critical operations and customer orders moving.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP for procurement and order management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including experience working with data to monitor performance and support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • You'll manage purchasing and order requirements for warehouses and operational locations across the Americas.
  • You'll serve as the primary operational contact for an assigned portfolio of suppliers, managing day-to-day inquiries and communications.
  • You'll monitor vendor performance, resolve supply issues and support strong supplier and internal customer relationships.
  • You'll analyze purchasing and supply chain processes, monitor performance metrics and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • You'll ensure procurement activities and documentation meet internal policies, ethical standards, regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
  • You'll collaborate with Procurement, Controlling, Logistics, Operations and Transportation teams to support timely order fulfillment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an Operational Purchaser to join a fast-paced engineering and renewable energy environment supporting supply chain operations across the Americas. Youll play a hands-on role in purchasing parts and coordinating supply requirements that help keep critical operations and customer orders moving.

Working closely with Customer Order Management, Operations, Transportation, Procurement and Logistics teams, youll help create a reliable, responsive supply chain experience. This role is well suited to someone with experience in an engineering-focused environment who enjoys solving problems, building supplier relationships and improving processes.

Whats In It for You

Youll earn $45 per hour for a 40-hour work week while gaining exposure to a large-scale, complex supply chain operation. Youll work with collaborative cross-functional teams, strengthen your SAP experience, and have the opportunity to make meaningful process improvements, with potential for the contract to become permanent.

Your Responsibilities
