Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager at its Peterborough, Ontario manufacturing facility to embed a culture of continuous improvement across production, quality and supply chain, unlocking efficiency and sustainable performance. You will coach teams, lead Kaizen events and value-stream mapping, and partner with cross-functional groups to optimize end-to-end processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in manufacturing or supply chain with Lean/Six Sigma results.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred; hands-on tools required.
  • Familiarity with TPM principles and performance systems preferred.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional project leadership.
  • Advanced data literacy with Excel and PowerPoint; analytics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy Lean, Continuous Improvement, and World Class Manufacturing across the Peterborough site.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and value stream mapping to close performance gaps.
  • Lead the continuous improvement roadmap aligned with productivity goals.
  • Coach plant associates on problem solving, standard work, and waste elimination.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and planning to optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Use data analytics to track metrics, communicate progress, and elevate barriers.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and process simplification for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Share best practices with regional networks and harmonize improvement standards.
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and sustainability in all process improvements.
  • Foster an inclusive environment encouraging ideas from all associates.

This role partners across supply chain, production, quality, and operational teams to unlock efficiencies that enable growth, sustainability, and excellence in execution.

What You'll Do for Us
  • Champion the deployment of Lean and Continuous Improvement , and World Class Manufacturing across the Peterborough manufacturing site to creat e sustainable Operational Excellence .
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions to identify performance gaps and implement measurable improvements in safety, quality, service, and cost.
  • Lead the development and execution of the site's continuous improvement roadmap aligned with enterprise productivity goals and local operational priorities.
  • Coach and mentor plant associates on problem ‑ solving tools, standard work practices, and waste elimination strategies to build team capability and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross ‑ functional partners in supply chain, quality, and planning to ensure optimization of end ‑ to ‑ end processes and material flows.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting systems to track performance against key metrics, communicate progress, and elevate barriers that require leadership support.
  • Drive adoption and integration of digital tools and process simplification initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and decision ‑ making on the shop floor.
  • Partner with the regional Operational Excellence network to share best practices, benchmark processes, and harmonize improvement standards.
  • Ensure all process improvement activities meet compliance, safety, and environmental requirements while supporting sustainability objectives in manufacturing.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment where all associates are encouraged to contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in engineering , Supply Chain, Business , related discipline , o r equivalent work experience
  • 3 + years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain roles with proven results in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Formal Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred; demonstrated hands ‑ on application of continuous improvement tools required .
  • Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles and related performance systems are strongly preferred.
  • Practical experience facilitating Kaizen events, managing cross ‑ functional projects, and implementing standard work practices.
  • Advanced data literacy with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint . Experience using analytics platforms for KPI tracking.
  • Exposure digital manufacturing systems and an understanding of how emerging technologies can accelerate operational improvements.
  • Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to engage and energize diverse teams at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and the ability to support cultural transformation initiatives within a plant environment.
  • Continuous learner mindset with demonstrated curiosity and resilience in dynamic operational settings.
