Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Business Operational Excellence Specialist to lead process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations. The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma, data-driven decisions, and standardization to enhance efficiency and customer value.

You will drive strategy, enable change management, and train teams while collaborating with stakeholders. Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps and VBA is advantageous, with occasional travel to deploy OE across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations or Business Management.
• 10+ years of manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Expertise in Kaizen, Lean and structured problem solving.
• Proven leadership in project, change management and operational transformation.
• Strong track record of training, coaching and mentoring leaders and teams.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps, VBA and digital improvement solutions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support BOE deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process improvement and problem-solving projects, utilizing Lean Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop Strategies and solutions to support the deployment of our company wide Operational Excellence Initiative including technical elements, management tools and practices and leadership skills.
• Be the 'expert' that engages the organization to embrace the change and develop the organization to ensure the OE approach is the fundamental way to 'manage' the business performance and alignment to the company goals.
• Develop training strategies and solutions along with organizational stakeholders that will increase the knowledge base of the teams around performance management, delivering value to our customers.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Be a process-based leader that instills a culture of standardization and execution through effective use of process, aligned KPIs and infrastructure.
• Lead the change using formal change management approach and communication strategy to ensure stakeholder engagement, full team collaboration and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
