Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited is seeking a Mining Supervisor for Eskay Creek Mine site in northwestern British Columbia. You will oversee open-pit operations, lead crews of 10–20+, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a remote camp environment on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation.

The ideal candidate has a BC Mines Shift Boss Certification or BC Mine Supervision Certificate, a Class 5 license, and 2–5+ years of supervisory experience in mining, with strong GPS/surveying, QC/QA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Holds a BC Mines Shift Boss Certification or a BC Mine Supervision Certificate.
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• 2–5+ years of supervisory experience in an open-pit mining environment.
• Strong understanding of BC mine health and safety regulations.
• Skilled in leading toolbox safety meetings and communicating safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage crews ranging from 10 to 20+ people in an open-pit mining environment.
• Identify and correct inefficiencies to improve productivity and operational performance.
• Participate in developing and executing work plans for mining and earthworks projects.
• Ensure adherence to BC mine health and safety guidelines and promote a safety culture.
• Lead toolbox safety meetings and conduct incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Oversee crew lineups, timecards, and daily reports; ensure QC/QA compliance.
• Utilize GPS equipment and surveying tools to support operational accuracy.
• Supervise operations with heavy equipment and optimize use of GPS/surveying data.
