Job summary

Challenger, a North American freight leader, seeks US-based Owner Operator TEAM DRIVERS based out of Cambridge, Ontario. You will join an award-winning team with opportunities across Canada and the US, driving modern equipment and leveraging our network.

Requirements include valid FAST card, AZ or Class 1 licence, minimum 1 year driving experience, clean CVOR, and ability to cross into the USA. Trucks up to 7 years old; dedicated support and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid FAST Card requirement to operate in the US.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean CVOR record.
• Ability to cross into the USA with an AZ/Class 1 licence.
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• No record of major convictions or out-of-service events.
• Criminal record check required; no offences under Canadian law.
• Trucks must be 7 years old or newer; approval review for older units.

What you need to be successful in the role:

• Valid FAST Card
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Ability to cross into the USA
• One year of verifiable commercial vehicle driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Maximum three demerit points (preferred)
• Zero convictions or out-of-service events on CVOR abstract (preferred)
• Criminal record search (no offences under Criminal Code of Canada)
• Valid Class AZ or Class 1 driver's licence
• Professional attitude and desire to be part of an award-winning team
• Trucks must not be older than 7 years from the current calendar year. Trucks older than 7 years may be considered for approval through a review process.
