Job summary

Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a temporary full-time Registered Practical Nurse (Medicine) to join our team in Fergus, Ontario.

Responsibilities include reliable patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to hospital policies. The successful candidate must hold CNO registration, BCLS, and complete IV therapy training within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Updated IV course and IV Med Administration – mandatory within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrated Physical Assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.

• Satisfactory performance and attendance required.
• Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date.
• Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
