Job summary

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an intermediate Software Developer - Full Stack for a Toronto onsite contract with a public sector client. The role focuses on building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines and full-stack applications, aligning with SDLC and modern DevOps practices.

You will work with Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and Swagger, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience with React and Angular development.
• Solid knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and AngularJS.
• Experience designing and implementing reusable UI components and API integration.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services and middleware.
• Extensive work with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines and full-stack apps.
• Translate specifications into tested, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, migration, and integration issues.
• Work with SDLC, architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develop frontend and backend, manage databases, and support DevOps.
• Build reusable UI components and integrate with APIs.
• Experience with Java, WebLogic, Tomcat, EJB, Servlets, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Utilize REST/SOAP web services, middleware, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with Agile/Scrum teams using Azure DevOps and JIRA.
