Job summary

Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement in Toronto is seeking a seasoned front-end engineer with strong React experience and deep AngularJS knowledge to design and implement modern web interfaces.

The role focuses on building reusable modules, integrating front-end with REST/SOAP services, and collaborating in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps and JIRA.

You will work across teams to deliver accessible, responsive applications that meet government standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React.
• Expert knowledge of Angular framework and JavaScript.
• Extensive knowledge of front-end interfaces.

Must Have:

• Strong exp with React.
• High level of knowledge around the Angular framework and JavaScript.
• High level knowledge of front-end interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components that build on the elements and modules of core AngularJS.
• Experience creating, designing, and implementing layouts for new and existing web pages. Excellent knowledge of front-end web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS, with ability to render server-side and client-side content.
• Experience / knowledge of REST, SOAP web services.
• Experience / knowledge of Azure DevOps, JIRA, agile/scrum
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, API development
• Knowledge and experience of the design and construction of REST API services
• Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API

Nice to have:

• Development and management experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) – developing forms using AEM would be ideal.
