Job summary

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an intermediate Software Developer - Full Stack for a Toronto onsite contract with a public sector client. The role focuses on building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines and full-stack applications, aligning with SDLC and modern DevOps practices.

You will work with Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and Swagger, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience with React and Angular development.
• Solid knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and AngularJS.
• Experience designing and implementing reusable UI components and API integration.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services and middleware.
• Extensive work with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines and full-stack apps.
• Translate specifications into tested, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, migration, and integration issues.

Job Title: Software Developer - Full Stack - Intermediate

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 364 Business Days with possible Extension

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: CAD $70 -$80 per hour

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines and full-stack applications.
• Translate technical specifications into tested and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, migration, and integration issues.
• Strong experience in SDLC, application architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Proficient in front-end and back-end development, database management, and DevOps.
• Expertise in Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and Swagger.
• Experience building reusable UI components and integrating front-end with APIs.
• Skilled in Java, WebLogic, Tomcat, EJB, Servlets, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services, middleware, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and RAD methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Must Have

• Strong exp with React.
• High level of knowledge around the Angular framework and JavaScript.
• High level knowledge of front-end interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components that build on the elements and modules of core AngularJS.
• Experience creating, designing, and implementing layouts for new and existing web pages. Excellent knowledge of front-end web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS, with ability to render server-side and client-side content.
• Experience / knowledge of REST, SOAP web services.
• Experience / knowledge of Azure DevOps, JIRA, agile/scrum
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, API development
