Job summary

Rideau Registry is seeking an onsite Leasing Consultant in Ottawa, ON, with bilingual French/English skills and proven sales/customer service background. You will engage prospective residents, showcase communities and guide applicants through leasing processes, while collaborating with the property team to maintain occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The role requires ability to manage inquiries, qualify prospects, and respond promptly to tenants and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales, service, real estate, hospitality or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, team members, and management.
• Manage leasing inquiries and leads, including phone/email inquiries, follow-ups, appointments, viewings and application support.
• Drive leasing performance by qualifying prospects, showcasing properties and suites, communicating value, negotiating leases, and promoting referrals.
• Maintain strong property and suite knowledge, ensuring inventory, availability, presentation, pricing and common areas meet standards.
• Monitor leasing and market performance, analyzing traffic, lease results, competitive rents, resident activity and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in leasing processes, marketing, customer experience, and overall property performance.
• Support building operations and resident experience by identifying and reporting property deficiencies.
