Job summary

Wajax Corporation is seeking a Heavy Duty Shop Technician to diagnose, repair and recondition heavy equipment, engines, transmissions and components both on-site and in the shop. You will work closely with customers, provide quality workmanship and maintain service records.

The role requires 2-3 years of field experience, trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. CVIP and Class 3 license are assets, with safety training emphasized.

Qualifications

• Trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal in a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on heavy equipment service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Communicate servicing requirements and approvals with customers.
• Service and repair equipment in shop and on-site for customers.
• Recondition and remanufacture components as required.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
• Participate in Health & Safety training and follow safety practices.
