Job summary

MasterBrand, Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support the Winnipeg, Manitoba facility with implementing and maintaining safety programs.

This role requires a hands-on presence on the production floor, coordinated investigations, and delivery of safety training to associates and leaders. Reporting to the Manager, Health & Safety, you will manage inspections, hazard analyses, and corrective actions while maintaining training records and procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• MADE SAFE core training and CRST/CRSP/CHSC/NCSO are assets.
• Ability and willingness to complete role-related training including First Aid, CPR, and AED training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor; conduct safety gemba walks, workplace inspections, and discussions with associates and supervisors.
• Prepare and update job hazard analyses, safe work procedures, and lockout procedures with affected teams; obtain technical review.
• Conduct routine incident and near-miss investigations; document findings and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver new associate orientation, toolbox talks, and refresher training; maintain attendance records.
