Job summary

Chengheng international trade in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a purchasing/procurement professional with 1–2 years of experience to oversee purchasing, warehousing, and contracts in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

This on-site role requires coordinating purchasing and logistics, developing budgets, evaluating operations, ensuring policy compliance, and leading staff, with travel willingness and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years experience.
• On-site work; no remote option.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization.
• Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Plan and control budget and expenditures.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy.
• Hire, train, direct and motivate staff.
• Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
• Manage contracts.
• Oversee the analysis of data and information.
• Oversee the preparation of reports.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
