Job summary

FirstService Residential Canada is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the onsite maintenance operations at The Legends Private Residences. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safe, reliable building operations in a luxury high-rise setting.

Responsibilities include incident management, preventive maintenance, documentation, and providing technical summaries to the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive experience in complex high-rise residential, hotel, commercial, institutional or mixed-use building operations.
• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance employees and ensuring quality.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, coach and supervise the onsite maintenance team.
• Coordinate schedule changes and vendor activity with the Community Manager.
• Take operational ownership of building incidents and coordinate containment and responses.
• Maintain SOPs, inspection logs and preventive-maintenance schedules.
• Provide clear technical summaries and risk recommendations to management.
