Job summary

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an AV Support Technician in Toronto, onsite for a 11-12 month assignment. The role focuses on supporting conference room AV environments, including Google Meet Rooms hardware, Logitech Rally, Neat Bar Pro, and room scheduling systems.

The team handles on-site and remote support, incident resolution, and proactive room health checks. Candidates should have 5+ years in IT/AV support, strong wiring and installation skills, and experience with enterprise

Qualifications

5+ years in IT/AV support with conferencing room focus.
Experience supporting Google Meet Rooms hardware/software.
Hands-on AV system installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform daily health checks and proactive AV sweeps of conference rooms.
Provide on-site and remote support for conference room technologies.
Troubleshoot and maintain Logitech Rally and Neat Bar Pro devices.
Install and commission new conference rooms (AV hardware, displays, cameras, cabling).
Calibrate and maintain conference room audio for high-quality output.
Diagnose hardware, software, networking, and scheduling issues affecting AV.
Respond to IT Helpdesk escalations and manage tickets.
Maintain AV hardware inventory and procurement records.
Create/update technical docs and SOPs in Confluence.
Monitor system health and coordinate firmware updates with vendors.
Assist with AV setup for internal meetings, town halls, webinars, events.
Stay current with AV and UC technologies and recommend improvements.
