Job summary

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre seeks a permanent full-time Student Support Teacher to deliver the Saskatchewan curriculum and support diverse learners in an online environment. The campus location will be determined by the principal's residence of the successful candidate.

You will design and support online lessons, assess student progress, collaborate with teachers, and maintain clear communication with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification in Saskatchewan.
• Master of Education (M.Ed.) or Special Education Certificate preferred.
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners and use online platforms effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Saskatchewan curriculum and adapt for diverse learners in online settings.
• Design, deliver, and assess engaging online lessons and interventions.
• Lead online instruction and collaborate with teachers and staff to plan educational programs.
• Foster a supportive, respectful online learning environment in synchronous and asynchronous settings.
• Maintain timely communication with parents/guardians about student progress and needs.
