Job summary

Cancer Care Alberta is seeking an Associate Manager to join the leadership team at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton. This role provides day-to-day operational leadership for inpatient and ambulatory oncology services, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will oversee staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives, coach staff, and partner with physicians and operations to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or health-related field.
  • Current professional registration in good standing.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership for inpatient and ambulatory oncology services.
  • Lead staffing, patient flow, and access management.
  • Oversee resource coordination, performance management, and quality improvement.
  • Coach staff and develop a resilient workforce.
