Job summary

Scarborough Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Clinic (GEN). This permanent, part-time role focuses on assessing and delivering nursing care in a multidisciplinary, family-centred environment with opportunities for ongoing education.

The successful candidate will participate in chemotherapy/biotherapy services, support patients and families, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS and Ontario Certificate of Competency.
• Oncology/Haematology chemotherapy certification within 6 months of joining.
• Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice within 1 year of joining.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in a multidisciplinary, family-centred setting.
• Provide chemotherapy and biotherapy nursing care in Oncology Clinic.
• Engage in ongoing education and contribute to patient and caregiver education.
