Job summary

Mattamy Homes Canada is seeking a Warranty Service Manager in Ottawa to lead the Warranty Department's daily operations, ensure homeowner requests are fulfilled, and drive service excellence. You will manage warranty service work, coordinate trades, mentor staff, and maintain professional relationships with homeowners while meeting timelines and budget requirements in a fast-paced environment.

On-site role, full-time contract with potential for permanency, reporting to Senior Warranty Manager,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years in a customer service or construction role.
• Knowledge of Tarion and terms of trade contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the completion of warranty service work within budget and timelines.
• Schedule 30-day and year-end warranty service requests.
• Respond to deficiencies with timely resolutions and reporting.
• Review repairs for quality and schedule adherence and provide ongoing guidance.
• Ensure trades are scheduled properly and expedite work to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with Senior Builders and Trade Partners; communicate homeowner concerns to Construction.
• Provide leadership to Warranty Service staff through coaching and performance management.
• Maintain professional relationships with homeowners and handle escalations gracefully.
• Manage emergency service requests after closing, including Model Homes support.
• Keep site compounds clean and presentable and participate in community events.
• Engage in Mattamy University sessions and internal training.
