Job summary

Bird Construction seeks a Digital Construction Coordinator (VDC) to oversee on-site Digital Construction activities on large-scale projects in Canada. Based in Mississauga with travel to site, the role coordinates among consultants, trades and the project team to implement digital workflows and ensure model integrity.

You will support pre-construction and construction phases, develop site logistics plans, and integrate QA/QC with digital tools. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of BIM/VDC experience on large institutional projects.
• On-site construction knowledge and ability to read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Support the District Digital Construction Manager and site team in executing digital construction programs.
• Coordinate with consultants, trade contractors, and project teams for effective workflows.
• Lead on-site digital construction activities and ensure schedules align with project goals.
• Develop 3D/4D models for coordination, schedule visualization, and site logistics.
