Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of property maintenance or related industry experience.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly.
• Oversee grounds and perform cleaning and upkeep of property areas.
• Diagnose issues and propose solutions compliant with Hines policies and codes.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing and coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain documentation and paperwork without disrupting other requests.
• Follow safety procedures for mechanical/electrical equipment and report incidents.
• Assist cost-control by verifying parts meet standards before replacement.
