BGIS is seeking a Technician III to operate a facility with a focus on mechanical and supporting systems. The role includes inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and adherence to EH&S, fire protection, and environmental requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma with trades training, 3+ years in HVAC/BO maintenance, BAS knowledge, and a strong service mindset. Shift work, on-call availability, and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Formación

• High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing.
• Minimum 3 years experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on heating ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Sound knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment.
• Possesses a strong environmental, health, and safety mindset.
• Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency.
• Knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Knowledge and understanding of HVAC Systems.
• Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification.
• Mentoring skills required to support lower level technician’s development.
• Must be able and willing to work shifts, be available for on-call/standby and emergency call-outs as they arise.
• Must strictly adhere to Health and Safety policies including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be capable of obtaining appropriate security clearance.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

• Conducts regular inspections and maintenance to ensure uptime and asset integrity.
