Qualifications

• We are seeking a student in physics or engineering for a hands-on research assistant role.
• Programming experience in C++ and Python is preferred.
• Cleanroom experience is an asset for handling modules.
• Experience with precision assembly, visual inspection and quality control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate causes of high noise on ATLAS Inner Tracker modules.
• Assemble dedicated test pieces and perform quality control.
• Conduct stress testing and analyze data from previous modules.
• Data analysis in Python and C++ with results presented at meetings.
