Job summary

Next Youth Job in Gravenhurst is seeking a motivated restaurant worker to join our on-site team. You will help manage food preparation, supervise staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

The position offers a permanent full-time schedule, 35–40 hours per week, with a hourly wage of 19–22 CAD, starts as soon as possible, and requires a secondary school diploma and 7 months to under 1 year experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service.
• On-site work location; no remote option.
• Secondary school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules
