Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a dedicated child care assistant to work on-site in a daycare setting.

You will bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers, support development through structured activities, and assist educators in implementing programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social growth. Successful candidates will hold a secondary school diploma, have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, and possess First Aid and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement child-care programs that support development.
• Storytelling and reading stories to children.
• Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers.
• Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
• Lead activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and organizing outings.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
• Observe children for signs of learning or behavioural issues and report to supervisors.
