Job summary

Kipling Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a North York property. This full-time, on-site role requires participation in the on-call rotation and may involve after-hours work to meet client needs.

Key duties include HVAC operation, documentation, rounds, and coordinating with contractors. Relevant BAS, CMMS, and construction-drawing literacy are essential. Competitive compensation offered with benefits.

Qualifications

• BES I/II, BOC, or Building Systems Maintenance Certificate (SMC) BOMI.
• 4 years’ experience in building repairs/operations.
• Ability to read/interpret construction drawings.
• Experience with state-of-the-art BAS, lighting control systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and people management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and safe operation of HVAC equipment across the complex.
• Maintain documentation and assist the operations manager with new facility documents.
• Perform daily rounds and log readings.
• Escalate unusual events, occurrences or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Oversee contractors/external service providers to ensure contract adherence.
