Job summary

Provident Energy Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Technician for multi-residential properties in Vaughan, ON.

The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving BAS and HVAC control issues, performing preventative maintenance, and optimizing building performance to meet client expectations. You will work independently and with the BAS team, gaining exposure to multiple BAS platforms and smart building technologies, while contributing to energy-efficiency

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Building Automation Systems, HVAC Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Technology, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on BAS and HVAC control system experience.
• Experience with multi-residential buildings is an asset.
• Proven BAS preventative maintenance and field service experience.
• Knowledge of BAS/DDC, protocols such as BACnet, P2, Modbus, TCP/IP; Niagara 4 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service on BAS and DDC systems; complete 95%+ of scheduled visits on time.
• Verify system functionality per contract requirements.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize BAS applications, controllers, and field devices.
