The Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited is seeking an on-call snow shoveler/hand crew technician for the Brantford area. The position runs November 15 to April 15 as a seasonal/contract role, with duties including snow removal and de-icing at client sites.

Qualifications

• Must be available 24/7 during snow events.
• Able to work outdoors in cold, snow and ice conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to snow and ice events and be available during shifts.
• Clear snow from customer sites and pile in designated locations.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply de-icing agents to manage ice accumulations.
• Hand-shovel, snow blow or hand-treat site areas as needed.
• Comply with Davey safety policies and report obstacles.
• Submit shift paperwork promptly and document issues.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
