Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a full-time Landscape Technician to join the landscape division.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with start date flexible. You will remove and install sod, topsoil and seed lawns, create or repair interlock walkways and patios, plant shrubs and trees, install new garden beds, and perform snow removal during winter months.

Qualifications

• Valid G class driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Technician to work in the landscape division. Hours will vary depending on company needs but the ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Start date is flexible depending on availability.

Job Duties

• Topsoil and seeding lawns
• Create and/or repair interlock walkways and patios
• Planting shrubs, trees, perennials and annuals
• Install new garden beds
• Perform snow removal services during winter months

Qualifications

• 'G' Class drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
• Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs
• Customer service experience preferred

Additional Information

• $18 to $23 / hour depending on experience
• 4% Vacation Pay
