Job summary

The Miller Group is seeking a Snow Plow Operator for winter maintenance across Ontario. You will safely operate a combo plow unit, remove snow on local roads and highways, and maintain essential reports and vehicle condition.

Role requires the ability to work assigned shifts, respond to call-ins quickly, and perform routine equipment maintenance in extreme weather. Join a team dedicated to safe communities during winter events.

Qualifications

• DZ or AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract & CVOR.
• Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes.
• Ability to operate a loader and perform maintenance duties such as patrolling, patching and minor equipment repairs.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require.
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a snow plow unit to perform snow removal on local roads and highways.
• Maintain documentation such as fuel reports, safety reports and hours of service.
• Clean and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Familiarise yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates.
• Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events and stay safety-focused on the road.
