Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking an On-Call/Casual Security Guard in Windsor. The role involves monitoring cameras, controlling access, and responding to emergencies while delivering customer service to staff and visitors.

Applicants must hold a Ontario Security License, First Aid/CPR Level C, and English fluency. Certifications in UOF/MOAB are required or can be undertaken pre-onboarding, with a 6‑month commitment. 15 openings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario security license.
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification required.
• English fluency (oral and written).
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
• UOF and MOAB certifications required or training provided pre-onboarding; unpaid training with a 6-month commitment.
• Authorized to legally work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Surveillance Systems and report suspicious activity promptly.
• Control access to site and ensure only authorized personnel enter.
• Respond to emergencies, assist staff during crises, and evacuations.
• Provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff.
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues calmly.
• Document incidents with accurate report writing.
• Collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement.
• Enforce site policies and safety protocols.
