Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard for Tecumseh Mall. The role involves monitoring the premises, patrolling, and responding to incidents and alarms to ensure safety and security.

You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a professional presence. Ideal candidates hold an Ontario security license, First Aid & CPR Level C, and fluent English; Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB certifications are preferred or trainable through Paladin.

Qualifications

• Must have Ontario security license and be able to work in Canada.
• First Aid & CPR - Level C certification required.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB or willingness to train with Paladin.

Responsibilities

• Write reports and investigate routine incidents; respond to emergencies quickly.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and patrol premises, including parking and entrances.
• Control entry points and verify authorized personnel only.
• Complete daily security logs and incident reports; communicate with management.
• Assist employees, visitors, and vendors; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
