Job summary

The Burnaby School District is hiring Casual, On-Call Custodians to work throughout the District in a variety of shifts (day, afternoon, evening), 7 days a week.

Successful candidates must understand cleaning procedures and the use and application of cleaning chemicals and equipment used in school facilities. Grade 12 completion, a BSW certificate, and six months of experience are required; weekdays/weekends availability preferred. Wage is CAD 30.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion is required.
• BSW certificate is required.
• Six months of relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across district facilities.
• Apply cleaning chemicals and products safely and according to guidelines.
• Maintain WHMIS standards and proper labeling.
• Move furniture and equipment and assist with setup as needed.
