Job summary

Alpine Building Maintenance is seeking On Call Cleaners for immediate positions within the GTA area. The role involves floor scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping, waxing and maintaining clean facilities across multiple sites. On-call shifts require flexibility to respond to urgent cleaning needs.

Candidates should have prior cleaning/janitorial experience and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Cleaners will follow safety protocols and support overall facility maintenance as required.

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and ensure floors are kept in good condition.
• Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers.
• Wipe and sanitize surfaces in washrooms and common areas.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Alpine Building Maintenanceis lookingforOn Call Cleanersfor an immediate position locatedwithinthe GTA area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must beknowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnishing of floors
• Cleanassigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces inassigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required
• Collectand dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
• Operatecarpet machines of various types
• Spotclean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills
• Wipeand sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and doorhandles
• Cleaningof washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, restocking of supplies as needed
• Followpre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe workingenvironment
• Otherduties and responsibilities as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Previouscleaning/janitorial experience an asset
• Must beable to lift 40lbs plus on a regular basis
