GrizzlyTrek Group in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Facility Operator to run an oilfield waste landfill. You will manage day-to-day operations, from receiving loads to permits, compliance, and plant balancing, on a 14 on/14 off rotation with weekends and holidays.This role requires hands-on operation, reliable transportation to site, a valid Class 5 licence, and the ability to log and report using Word and Excel. Competitive hourly pay of $35–$45 and strong safety culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas facility operations.
• Strong safety and compliance record.
• Ability to work a 14 on/14 off rotation including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Class 5 licence; H2S Alive and Standard First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility according to Standard Operating Procedures and update procedures as needed.
• Receive and direct incoming loads; coordinate gate flow and safe unloading.
• Track and log every fluid and waste stream; file tickets and balance the plant.
• Issue Safe Work Permits and oversee third party contractor compliance on site.
• Inspect and maintain facility equipment; schedule repairs beyond your scope.
• Conduct hazard assessments, report incidents, and ensure environmental compliance.
