Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. in Fort McMurray, Alberta, is hiring an experienced dozer operator for a full-time rotational role. Expect a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule with pay between $29.00 and $40.00 per hour based on verified seat time.

Camp room and board are provided and travel is covered, with pickup from Edmonton or Fort McMurray. You will push overburden and muskeg, build haul roads, prep pads and lease sites, and participate in reclamation and tailings work.

Qualifications

• Verifiable dozer seat time in oil sands, mining, or heavy civil construction.
• CSO or CSTS-20, H2S Alive, and Standard First Aid certifications are required.
• Valid Class 5 licence and reliable transportation to pickup point.
• Willingness to live in camp on a 14 on/7 off rotation and pass pre-access drug test.

Responsibilities

• Push overburden, muskeg, and sand on mine and construction spreads, holding grade and slope.
• Cut, crown, and maintain haul roads and access roads to keep truck traffic moving.
• Build and level pads, lease sites, and laydown areas to stakes, laser, or GPS control.
• Rip frost and hardpan; work on wet or soft ground without getting the machine stuck.
• Support reclamation and tailings work, including topsoil placement and contouring.
• Complete daily walkarounds, pre-trip inspections, and greasing before operation.
• Attend pre-job safety meetings and toolbox talks each shift.
