Job summary

Primus Workforce Ltd. is seeking Labourers with Elevated Work Platform training to support industrial cleaning projects across Northern Alberta.

Duties include operating high-pressure wash systems, water jetting, chemical cleaning, and confined-space work. Requirements include clear English, mandatory Energy Safety Canada tickets (H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation, Elevated Work Platform) and preferred First Aid Level C, WHMIS, CSTS.

Qualifications

• Requires English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Must hold Energy Safety Canada safety tickets: H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation, Elevated Work Platform.
• Additional tickets (Preferred): First Aid Level C, WHMIS, CSTS.
• Experience in remote sites, confined spaces, heights, noisy environments, and extreme weather.
• Experience in industrial pulp & paper or oil and gas is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure wash systems to clean tanks, pipes, heat exchangers, and equipment.
• Use water jetting and chemical cleaning to remove buildup and contaminants.
• Handle hoses, nozzles, and pressure controls.
• Ensure proper waste disposal per regulations.
• Enter and work in confined spaces for cleaning and inspections.
• Work in ventilated, well-lit, safe areas with PPE.
• Follow confined space entry procedures and air monitoring; use supplied air if needed.
• Communicate with safety attendants and team members for safe conditions.
• Assist with setting up/tearing down equipment at job sites.
• Perform manual lifting, shoveling, and moving tools; support other cleaning tasks.

Job description

We are Currently Seeking: Labourers must have Elevated Work Platform training certificate.

Locations: Across Northern Alberta

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure wash systems (20,000 PSI) to clean tanks, pipes, heat exchangers, and other industrial equipment.
• Use water jetting and chemical cleaning techniques to remove buildup, sludge, and contaminants.
• Handle and maintain hoses, nozzles, and pressure controls.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials following environmental regulations.
• Enter confined spaces such as tanks, vessels, and pits to perform cleaning, maintenance, and inspections.
• Work in confined areas with proper ventilation, lighting, and safety equipment.
• Follow strict confined space entry procedures, including air monitoring and using supplied air respirators if necessary.
• Communicate with safety attendants and team members to ensure safe work conditions.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment at job sites.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, shoveling, and moving hoses or cleaning tools.
• Support other industrial cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Clear verbal and written English
• Required Safety Tickets (Must be issued by Energy Safety Canada): H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation, Elevated Work Platform.
• Other Safety Tickets (Preferred): First Aid Level C, WHMIS, CSTS
• Previous experience working in various environments (i.e., remote sites, confined spaces, heights, noisy environments, and extreme weather conditions); Industrial pulp and paper and/or oil and gas experience is also an asset.
• Swamping experience is an asset (i.e., Vacuum and Hydro vac work).
• Experience working with High-Pressure Water Blasting Equipment is an asset.
• Experience working with chemicals is an asset.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and shifts.
