Job summary

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd. in Fort St John is seeking an experienced Field Operator to join our Fort St John branch. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about OH&S legislation and the safety practices of today’s oil and gas industry, with the role home every night.

Candidates must live in the Fort St John region, have at least 2 years of sour field operating experience, valid H2S Alive and First Aid certificates, and solid communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Oil and Gas sour field operating experience is required.
• HVP/LVP, pigging and sampling, Meter proving, SCADA, Procedure review and writing are an asset.
• H2S Alive and First Aid certificates are a requirement.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment.
• Self motivation with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks.
• Preference will be given to applicants with Ltd company and truck.
• Applicants must live within the immediate Fort St John area.
