Job summary

ARC Resources Ltd. is seeking an Office Services Summer Student to join the Office Services team in Calgary. You will report to the Supervisor, Office Services, and support a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills during a 4-month term starting in May 2027.

The role focuses on front-desk professionalism, reception coverage, print coordination, and cross-department collaboration to ensure smooth daily operations and positive employee experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, inquiries, and other interactions.
  • Provide vacation coverage for Reception, Mailroom, Purchasing, Reprographics, Conference Center and Facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments as a point of contact for scheduling, coordinating, and printing all print requests.
  • Assist with corporate-wide communications updates relating to Office Services and employee experience.
  • Coordinate team functions and events.
  • Manage inventory and organization of promotional items and company-wide distribution.
  • Liaise with QuadReal on fire warden, AED training and building safety processes.
  • Review vendor contracts and conduct bid analyses.
  • Assist with setup/teardown and catering requests for the in-house conference center.
  • Work with Facilities on office moves and renovations for Calgary and Field offices.
  • Other special projects as required.

THE OPPORTUNITY
:

We are currently seeking an Office Services Summer Student to join our Office Services team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Office Services, the successful candidate will have exceptional organizing skills and is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. This 4-month work term will commence in May 2027 and is based in Calgary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, inquiries, and other interactions

Work with Internal Communications toassistwith any corporate wide communications updates relating to Office Services and employee experience

Review vendor contract and conduct bid analysis

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC
:

This position is ideally suited for students currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor’s program in Business Administration or a related degree and are returning to their studies in the following term

Strong workingproficiencywith Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Customer service focus and the ability to understand and accurately relay customer needs
