Job summary

ARC Resources Ltd. is seeking an Information Systems Summer Student to join our Information Technology team in Calgary for a 4-month term starting May 2027.

You will work under the Supervisor, Information Systems, bringing strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for learning in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Senior Developers, assist in Microsoft stack projects (PowerApps, SharePoint, .NET, SQL Server), and gain proficiency in Azure Cloud Services while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and returning to school next term.
• Experience developing software in school or professional setting.
• Familiarity with development lifecycle and project management principles.
• Knowledge of PowerShell to automate SharePoint tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Power Platform, .Net, and AI is an asset.
• Experience developing Copilot agents via Copilot Studio or Azure AI Services is an asset.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an Information Systems Summer Student to join our Information Technology team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Information Systems, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a passion for learning, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This 4-month work term will commence in May 2027 and is based in Calgary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confer with SeniorDevelopers to help develop and implement businesssolutions and contribute to developing detailed documentation
• Assistin building and implementing solutions to improve business process solutionsusing one of our preferred solutions within the Microsoft suite (.Net, PowerApps, SharePoint, SQL Server,Azure Cloud,PowerShell, andCopilot).
• Work as a supporting member of a team to develophigh-qualitysoftware
• Become proficient in Azure Cloud Services
• Gain knowledge in the automation of the software development process

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC

• The position is ideally suited for students currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and are returning to school the following term
• Experience developing software and applications at school or in a business environment and following established protocols and processes
• Comprehension of the development lifecycle and project management principles
• Knowledge of PowerShell to automate SharePoint administration tasks
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated work environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Power Platform, .Net, and AI is an asset
• Experience developing Copilot agents using Copilot Studio or Azure AI Services is an asset
