ARC Resources Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Management Co-op Student for a 12-month term starting January 2027 in Calgary, Alberta.

The role supports sourcing events, contract administration, and procurement processes within a fast-paced energy company that is part of the Shell group. Ideal candidates are in 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Management with a focus in Supply Chain Management, and possess strong communication and data-analysis

Qualifications

• Candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with focus in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead sourcing events (RFx).
• Assist Category Management Advisors with data analysis, sourcing strategy, and events.
• Initiate MSAs in SAP Ariba and coordinate with Legal for negotiations.
• Ensure MSAs are fully executed within authority levels; upload MSAs to ARC system.
• Assist in preparation and administration of procurement agreements and pricing agreements.
• Support contract administration to keep agreements accurate and current.
• Manage purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Perform reporting and data analysis using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and OpenInvoice.
• Create and maintain procurement process documentation and training resources.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Co-op Student to work with our Supply Chain Management team. This position reports to the Team Lead, Procurement and requires an organized and motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. This 12-month work term will commence in January 2027 and is based in Calgary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and/or lead sourcing events (RFx) as required
• Support Category Management Advisors with projects and initiatives such as data analysis, sourcing strategy development, and executing sourcing events
• Initiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs) with our key suppliers and following the MSAs through to execution. This includes:
  • Initiate MSAs in SAP Ariba
  • Work with ARC and supplier Legal departments as required to facilitate MSA negotiations
  • Ensure MSAs are fully executed within appropriate authority levels
  • Upload executed MSAs to ARC’s system
• Assist in the preparation and administration of procurement agreements, including Pricing Agreements and other commercial contracts
• Support contract administration activities, ensuring agreements remain accurate, current, and aligned with pricing and business requirements
• Contribute to procurement and sourcing activities by managing purchase orders throughout their lifecycle, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and supporting issue resolution and closeout processes
• Perform reporting and data analysis using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and OpenInvoice to support decision-making and identify process improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain procurement process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training resources to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC

• The position is ideally suited for students currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Management with a focus in Supply Chain Management and are returning to their studies in the following term
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at the same time in a dynamic environment
• Intermediate MS Office/365 skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Prior experience working in Supply Chain Management would be considered an asset
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, promote continuous improvement and enjoy working in a team environment
