Job description

ME Law Professional Corporation is a Toronto-based litigation firm specializing in estate, real estate, and corporate/commercial disputes. Our practice is built around handling sophisticated and high-stakes civil litigation matters with precision, strategy, and relentless advocacy.

As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Office Manager to become a key leader within our organization — someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, enjoys building efficient systems, and takes pride in keeping a high-performing team operating at its best.

This is not just an administrative position. It is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the growth and future direction of a modern and expanding litigation firm. For the right candidate, this role offers significant professional development and the potential to evolve into a senior operational or executive‑level position over time.

This role is also an excellent opportunity for experienced Senior Law Clerks or Senior Licensed Paralegals looking to transition into a leadership and operations‑focused position within a growing litigation practice.

Position Overview

The Office Manager will be the operational heartbeat of the firm — overseeing day‑to‑day office functions, supporting lawyers and staff, improving internal processes, and helping foster a professional, collaborative, and high‑energy workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the law firm
  • Manage administrative staff scheduling, workflow, and office procedures
  • Support lawyers and legal staff with operational and administrative needs
  • Maintain organized office systems, legal files, and internal processes
  • Liaise with vendors, IT providers, building management, and external service providers
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Assist with billing coordination, document management, and file organization
  • Ensure office compliance with legal and professional standards
  • Handle confidential and time‑sensitive matters with discretion
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, firm events, and internal communications
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and office operations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Leadership or team management experience is considered an asset
Why Join ME Law
  • Be part of a respected and expanding litigation practice
  • Work closely with an ambitious and collaborative legal team
