Job summary

S&R Group is seeking an Office Coordinator to support daily operations in a busy office of a long-term care home. From welcoming calls to billing and admission contracts, your organization and proactive approach will help residents and families feel supported.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, timely billing, and cooperative teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Office Administration and are proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education with a diploma in Office Administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity/ability to understand the MN act, Rate Reduction/GIS/OAS.
  • Experience in an Office and or a Long Term Care Home setting an asset—resident accounts, billings, month end reports would be an asset.
  • Extensive computer literacy skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain records, resident trust accounts, prepare admission agreements and complete billing.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Pro-active approach and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure in busy, fast-paced environment.

  • Oversee resident comfort trust accounts.
  • Complete new resident admission contracts.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
