Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking an Office Building Security Guard in Manitoba to provide high-level customer service in a corporate environment. The role emphasizes engaging with people, maintaining order, and upholding site security on a permanent shift pattern.

Qualified candidates will hold a Manitoba security license and be able to work in Canada with evening availability. First aid is a plus, and GardaWorld offers growth opportunities and a uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity.
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures.
• Perform Interior and Exterior Patrol with G-Track at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence and to identify potential risks.
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Complete Daily reports.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
